Build a better approach
Paddle Duel is a classic rally contest against a responsive AI. Move your paddle with the mouse, touch, or arrow keys and keep the ball on your side of the court. Each time the AI misses, you score. Each time you miss, you lose a life.
Angle matters as much as speed. Contact near the paddle edges sends sharper trajectories that are harder for the AI to track. Center hits are safer when you need to stabilize a long rally. Mix both styles so the opponent cannot settle into one pattern.
Turn information into decisions
Stay ahead of the ball instead of chasing it. Watch the bounce off the AI paddle and begin moving toward the predicted landing zone immediately. Late slides create weak returns and open the corners.
When the rally accelerates, shorten your movements. Tiny corrections near the expected contact point beat dramatic sweeps that overshoot. Calm positioning converts pressure into points.
Practice for consistent results
After losing a life, slow your first few returns. Rebuild rhythm before hunting edge shots again. Most comebacks fail because players force winners while still unsettled.
Treat each duel as two scores: points earned and lives preserved. A patient defense that waits for AI mistakes usually outscores aggressive gambling at the edges.
